Are the trim/border Chee Hsin tiles, #113/4? The corner tiles look slightly different. They’re seen in Suzhou’s Taohuawu, 28-1 West Daying Gate 桃花坞西大营门28-1. The central tiles, however, don’t look like Chee Hsin’s at all.
今天火车站出来还特意去找了这民国念五年造的小洋楼,很可惜现被挤在旮旯角落里,现住民很热心打开房门让我进去拍,还带我去看我指名点的要看的那块当年的建房碑8.所有的铁艺基本在上海的小洋里都见过,7马赛克也完好无缺,9彩色地砖也很亲切.可惜壁炉被拆掉了.
This set of tiles, the central should be #115/165, trapezoids 八角星.
It seems, this house used mix and match method to tile the floor.
