How the company handles their Help section: with real humans or machines? My Uber credit card, as usual, earns $$ rewards. By the way, I signed up when they first offered it in 2018 and the terms they offered were very good. Then a couple of years on, they slim it down with so so terms, that includes how you can spend your hard earn reward, which offers only one way: to funnel it into Uber Eats, automatically. (hope I have this right.)
Recently I noticed the rewards has been sitting in my credit card account and I tried a few times to move it or transfer it into Uber Eats but unsuccessful. So I called credit card which was no help, they told me to call Uber Eats. The only help I found is on Uber Drive, by choosing pre-titled problem. However, none of them fit my need exactly – maybe my problem is not a problem, just I’m not too bright – so I chose one that most relative to mine.
I picked I received an error when enrolling in Uber Rewards and wrote “How do I transfer my rewards in my Uber credit care to my Uber Eats?”
The first reply came the following day, that reads like their advertising commercial:
Hi Irene,
I apologize for the inconvenience and can imagine the situation you are currently in. However, allow me to help you and provide you the best resolution to solve this issue.
With Uber Rewards, every eligible dollar spent on rides or Eats orders gives you the opportunity to earn points. As you earn points, you unlock benefits that save you time and empower you to have more flexibility and control.

I understand that it’s really inconvenient to deal with this kind of issue, Irene. I’ve reviewed this further.
Irene, when you enroll in Uber Rewards, you begin to earn two types of points on every trip and order – level points, and reward points.

3. Choose View All Offers in the Payment Offers section.
