Killers of the Flower Moon

Killers of the Flower Moon (book 2017, movie 2023).

I enjoyed listening to this book, and am looking forward to the movie. So yesterday a friend who lives in LA, posted the following on WeChat,

I asked, how’s the movie?

She replied, “haven’t seen it yet.”

Another friend who is a medical doctor and lives in Beijing said, he has seen it and … felt very sympathetic toward the Indians.

I asked him where did he see it, because of the past experience I’ve; also the fact I just looked on Apple after seeing the ad – I thought it’s pay per view on Apple TV. Apparently, not. It’s still in the movie theaters, in the U.S.

He replied, from download.

Oh well… How did China do it? And people in China are watching it, after decades of IP education …
