Built during the reign of Guangxu (1875-1908) by the wealthy merchant Wu Xixu 吴锡叙, Jiuzi Land 九子巷 (Nine Sons Lane?). The Chinese slogan reads, 沿着毛主席革命路线胜利前进, which is “March victoriously along the revolutionary line of Chairman Mao.”
