Here is\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.weibo.com\/tv\/show\/1034:4522615948378132?from=old_pc_videoshow\">the 8:10 min video<\/a>.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p><span style=\"font-family: ayuthaya;\">My first thought is, &#8220;Wow, why would they do that &#8211; wasn&#8217;t it China&#8217;s?&#8221; Then I asked myself, &#8220;Why didn&#8217;t China demand the return of Vladivostok or \u6d77\u53c2\u5d34, as they did with Hong Kong?!&#8221;<\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Ok, here is a\u00a0little history of the port:<\/p>\n<p>The coastal area 830 miles (1,338 km) east of Beijing, and north of the Sea of Japan was\u00a0\u6d77\u53c2\u5d34 Haishenwai, part of imperial China for many dynasties. Then, China lost yet, another war with the West, the\u00a0Arrow War, or the second opium war in 1860 to the Brits and the French. The Russians seized the day and had the\u00a0southernmost\u00a0127 square miles (331 sq km; neighboring North Korea) ceded to them, calling it Vladivostok\u00a0\u7b26\u62c9\u8fea\u6c83\u65af\u6258\u514b, which means Ruler of the East.
