The 12 store building was finished in 1933.<\/p>\n<p>Sir Walter Henry Medhurst (<a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Walter_Henry_Medhurst_(consul)\">1822<\/a>\u20131885) was Consul in Shanghai (as H.M. Consul) from <a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/List_of_Consuls-General_of_the_United_Kingdom_in_Shanghai\">1871<\/a> to 1880. His father WH Medhurst (\u9ea6\u90fd\u601d <a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Walter_Henry_Medhurst\">1796<\/a>-1857) was a missionary.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p><a href=\"https:\/\/zh.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/%E6%B3%B0%E5%85%B4%E5%A4%A7%E6%A5%BC\">\u9ea6\u7279\u8d6b\u65af\u8131\u5927\u697c<\/a>\u4ea7\u4e1a\u5c5e\u4e8e1930\u5e74\u96c6\u8d44\u6210\u7acb\u7684\u82f1\u5546\u6052\u4e1a\u5730\u4ea7\u516c\u53f8\uff08Metropolitan Land Co.\uff0cLtd.\uff0c\u4f4d\u4e8e\u4ec1\u8bb0\u8def81\u53f7\uff0c\u4eca\u6ec7\u6c60\u8def\uff09\uff0c\u5360\u57302.15\u4ea9\u3002\u5927\u697c\u7ae3\u5de5\u4e8e1933\u5e74\u3002\u5927\u697c\u5efa\u6210\u540e\u4e3b\u8981\u7528\u4e8e\u51fa\u79df.1950\u5e74\u4ee3\u7531\u4e2d\u534e\u4f01\u4e1a\u516c\u53f8\u63a5\u624b\uff0c1956\u5e74\u4ea4\u7ed9\u623f\u7ba1\u90e8\u95e8[2]\u30021994\u5e742\u670815\u65e5\uff0c\u9ea6\u7279\u8d6b\u65af\u8131\u5927\u697c\u88ab\u4e0a\u6d77\u5e02\u653f\u5e9c\u786e\u5b9a\u4e3a\u7b2c\u4e8c\u6279\u4e0a\u6d77\u5e02\u4f18\u79c0\u5386\u53f2\u5efa\u7b51[3]\u3002<\/p>\n<p>\u9ea6\u7279\u8d6b\u65af\u8131\u5927\u697c\u4e2d\u90e8\u9ad812\u5c42\uff0c\u4e24\u7ffc\u5bf9\u79f0\uff0c\u9ad89\u5c42\uff0c\u94a2\u7b4b\u6df7\u51dd\u571f\u7ed3\u6784\uff0c\u5efa\u7b51\u9762\u79ef8837\u5e73\u65b9\u7c73\uff0c\u5927\u697c\u4e3a\u516b\u5b57\u5f62\uff0c\u5c5e\u4e8e<a class=\"mw-redirect\" title=\"\u73b0\u4ee3\u4e3b\u4e49\" href=\"https:\/\/zh.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/%E7%8E%B0%E4%BB%A3%E4%B8%BB%E4%B9%89\">\u73b0\u4ee3\u4e3b\u4e49<\/a>\u98ce\u683c\u3001\u88c5\u9970\u827a\u672f\u98ce\u683c\uff0c\u5f3a\u8c03\u6a2a\u7ad6\u7ebf\u6761\u3002\u8bbe\u8ba1\u8005\u4e3a<a title=\"\u65b0\u745e\u548c\u6d0b\u884c\" href=\"https:\/\/zh.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/%E6%96%B0%E7%91%9E%E5%92%8C%E6%B4%8B%E8%A1%8C\">\u65b0\u745e\u548c\u6d0b\u884c<\/a>\uff08Smith &amp; Co.\uff0cF.
