I manage to put together a tree over the decades that encompasses about five branches. Although one of my branches traces back to year 650\u200e and another dates back to 1341, but my main focus has always been on the 1800s and after.<\/p>\n<p><sup><a href=\"https:\/\/www.ireneeng.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/05\/IMG-16-family-tree_1071-1.jpeg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft wp-image-135 size-thumbnail\" src=\"https:\/\/www.ireneeng.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/05\/IMG-16-family-tree_1071-1-150x150.jpeg\" alt=\"\" width=\"150\" height=\"150\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.ireneeng.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/05\/IMG-16-family-tree_1071-1-150x150.jpeg 150w, https:\/\/www.ireneeng.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/05\/IMG-16-family-tree_1071-1-48x48.jpeg 48w, https:\/\/www.ireneeng.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/05\/IMG-16-family-tree_1071-1-300x300.jpeg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 150px) 100vw, 150px\" \/><\/a><span style=\"color: #808080;\">The family tree of the Zhous \u2022 \u5468\u6c0f\u5bb6\u8c31<\/span><\/sup><\/p>\n<p>The family tree of the Lius (1912 edition) has been digitized by Shanghai Museum around 2000 and the Zhou\u2019s 13 volumes (1923 [?] edition), which is from Dr. Alan Chow\u2018s garage, was digitized by myself in the summer of 2016.<br \/>\nMy writing is merely a byproduct of the hard research and legwork I\u2019ve performed over the decades, all of which has proven to be immensely rewarding, therapeutic, and cathartic.<\/p>\n<p>\u8fd9\u4e2a\u7f51\u7ad9\u662f\u5173\u4e8e\u6211\u7684\u5bb6\u8c31, \u8fc7\u53bb\u7684\u548c\u73b0\u5728\u7684. \u867d\u7136\u6211\u7684\u4e00\u4e2a\u5206\u652f\u8ffd\u6eaf\u5230650\u5e74, \u53e6\u4e00\u4e2a\u8ffd\u6eaf\u52301341\u5e74, \u4f46\u6211\u7684\u4e3b\u8981\u76ee\u6807\u4e00\u76f4\u662f\u5173\u6ce8\u4ece1800\u5e74\u540e.<br \/>\n2000\u5e74\u5de6\u53f3\u4e0a\u6d77\u535a\u7269\u9986\u6570\u7801\u4e86\u5218\u6c0f\u5bb6\u8c31. \u5468\u6c0f\u7684\u5341\u4e09\u518c\u5bb6\u8c31 (1923 \u7248[?]) \u6765\u81ea\u5468\u55e3\u826f\u8205,\u6211\u4e8e2016\u5e74\u590f\u5929\u5c06\u5176\u6570\u7801\u5316.<br \/>\n\u5199\u4f5c\u53ea\u662f\u8f9b\u52e4\u7814\u7a76\u7684\u526f\u4ea7\u54c1. \u4e8b\u5b9e\u8bc1\u660e,\u6240\u6709\u8fd9\u4e9b\u5de5\u4f5c\u90fd\u5177\u6709\u6781\u5927\u7684\u56de\u62a5,\u6cbb\u7597\u548c\u5ba3\u6cc4\u4f5c\u7528.<\/p>\n<p>Phil Knight of Nike wrote, that &#8220;when you run around an oval track, or down an empty road, you have no real destination. At least, none that can fully justify the effort. The act itself becomes the destination.
