A clockwork orange

Couple of odd things: my watch’s date didn’t work well in Nicaragua. Why did I need a watch there was beside the point. When the date didn’t turn, I first thought that the battery was gone. But the time was right. So I fidgeted with it, and ended up turned 12 hours forward to make the date right. After this, the watch worked well in Nica.
Because it’s closer to the equator?
Second oddies: one of the wood bowls develops mold. I wanted to put them under the New York sun … then though maybe not, what if the blazing sun dries up the wood because Nica is obvious more humid. Hmmmm, Nica was sunshine every day when we were there!
