Julia Fisher had a delicious performance tonight – Tchaikovsky’s violin concerto – and it was the second time I’ve seen an encore (although her choice was bad), first was Yundi Li playing Chopin at Carnegie early this year. Is this the sign that classic music is waking up to finally meeting audiences’ demand? Fisher’s skin is extremely fair and she wore a low cut black gown, looked sexy. She has good stage pasture and her arms are very pretty.
Violin concertos are my favored. The scarcity, the way musicians hugging the instruments, the feminine sound of it – perhaps were few reasons that I love it so much. I do find classic music to be erotic in some instances; can wear it and feel it, being caressed during adagio movements and brought to climax (orgasm?) during the crescendo or allegro.
