Ha ha ha ..
When my kids were very young, once I took them to the bank, letting them take turn to get cash from the ATM machine. At dinner, they asked why Dad wasn’t home.
“He has to work.”
“Why?” They asked.
“Someone has to make a living ..”
So when Golfer came home that night, they both ran to him and each held his legs.
“Daddy, Daddy, you don’t have to go to work. Mommy can get money out of the wall.”
..
..
Once I heard Golfer relay this story to his mother. He then said .. in the heat of hectic workload he would think of this kind of moment and it brought smile to his face.
“Yes, that exactly how I feel when I think of Julie.” My mother shouted earnestly.
Golfer has two kid sisters, Julie is the youngest.
Ops. Guess the other two children failed to bring joy into her life?
