导引：2010年1月20日，中国校友会网首次发布“2010中国大学富豪校友捐赠榜”，这是我国首个反映大学校友捐赠状况的排行榜。其中，浙江大学校友段永平“最慷慨”，累计捐赠2.48亿，荣膺“2010中国大学富豪校友捐赠排行榜”榜首，创中国大学校友捐赠之最；清华大学四位校友联合捐赠母校2.2亿，名列第二，创我国大学最大的一笔校友捐赠；北京大学校友黄怒波捐赠1亿地产，名列第三。
“校友捐赠”在欧美世界著名大学当中十分常见，美国耶鲁大学、哈佛大学和普林斯顿大学等名校的年度收入当中校友捐赠甚至占据相当大比例。校友对母校的捐赠行为本身充分表现出了校友对母校教育品质的认可、对母校培养的饮水思源、知恩图报之情，已成为推动和促进高校发展的重要因素。
由于多方面原因，建国以来我国大学捐赠并未形成欧美大学之捐赠文化，差距很大。可喜的是，近年来我国大学校友向母校捐赠的热情逐年高涨，特别是创业成就显著的中国富豪榜上榜的亿万富豪企业家，在合法创造财富过程中也为社会创造了更大的财富同时，不忘国家和母校的培养之恩，纷纷慷慨解囊通过各种形式回报社会、回报母校。
国内首发“大学富豪校友捐赠榜”，倡导校友捐赠文化
为让社会了解富豪校友向母校捐赠的状况，中国校友会网对1999-2009年胡润中国百富榜、福布斯中国富豪榜、南方周末中国(内地)人物创富榜、新财富500富人榜、中国校友会网中国大学创业富豪榜等榜上有名的富豪向其毕业大学捐赠的情况进行调查，2010年1月20日，中国校友会网在国内首次发布“2010中国大学富豪校友捐赠榜”。榜单制作人、中国校友会网总编赵德国指出，发布校友捐赠榜旨在促进大学更加重视校友服务工作，倡导大学校友捐赠文化，鼓励校友积极关心母校的发展。“中国大学校友捐赠排行榜”今后将按年度每年发布一次。
校友的任何一笔捐赠都会对在校学生产生积极的影响，激励更多的学子回报母校的培养之恩，校友的捐赠不仅为母校的事业发展提供了不可或缺的财力支持，从而提高其大学的声誉。中国校友会网总编赵德国介绍说，调查发现，在商业上已取得成功的富豪校友已成我国大学捐赠的主力军，部分富豪企业家更是屡创中国大学校友捐赠新高。目前我国大学富豪校友主要通过在其母校设立奖学金、助学金、创业基金等形式帮助优秀新生和困难学生，或通过捐资设立科研基金、捐赠科研设备，建立研究院、实验室、图书馆和地产等支持母校的发展。
浙大校友段永平捐赠最多，清华校友单笔捐赠额度最大
结果显示，“2010中国大学富豪校友捐赠排行榜”共有50多位富豪企业家上榜，捐赠金额合计10亿多元，人均捐赠2000万元。中国校友会网总编赵德国指出，其中，过亿的校友捐赠3笔，过千万的校友捐赠19笔，上百万的46笔，捐赠金额最高2.4亿元，最低10万元。上榜的富豪企业家中，个人财富在200亿元以上的富豪企业家有3人，上100亿元的富豪有9人，过50亿元的富豪有19人，资产不足亿元的有2人，财富为0.6亿元和0.05亿元。
其中，浙江大学校友、步步高段永平独占鳌头，捐赠母校的金额最多，累计捐赠浙江大学2.48亿元，荣膺“2010中国大学富豪校友捐赠排行榜”的榜首，当之无愧成为了“中国大学最慷慨的富豪校友”，也创下了中国大学校友捐赠的最高纪录。
2006年，浙江大学校友、步步高电子有限公司董事长段永平联手网易公司总裁丁磊向其母校浙江大学捐赠4000万美元，此次四千万美元的捐赠中，包括丁磊个人的1000万美元、段永平个人及其募集资金3000万美元，这是当时国内高校接受到的最大一笔捐资。2009年12月，段永平再次慷慨捐赠人民币760万元，继续支持浙江大学等发展，合计给浙江大学捐款2.48亿元人民币。
排名第二的是清华大学校友、完美时空池宇峰、迈瑞生物徐航、宋歌和方方，四人共同捐赠清华大学2.2亿元，这也是我国大学最大的一笔校友捐赠。2008年，在清华大学建校97周年之际，北京完美时空网络技术有限公司董事长兼CEO的池宇峰、深圳迈瑞生物医疗电子股份有限公司董事长徐航、北京完美时空网络技术公司董事宋歌、摩根大通证券(亚太)有限公司董事、总经理方方等共同捐款3200万美元，资助清华大学新清华学堂的建设。
居第三的是北京大学校友、中坤集团黄怒波，捐赠北京大学价值1亿元地产。2008年在北京大学110周年校庆之际，北京中坤集团董事长黄怒波向北大捐资价值1亿元的大钟寺国际广场地产，并设立“北京大学中坤教育基金”，用于资助北京大学人文学科的发展。这是建国以来，北大接受的第一笔地产捐赠，也是北大校友中最大的一笔捐赠。
名列第四的是浙江大学校友、赛伯乐朱敏，向浙江大学捐资7600万元。2007年，浙江大学110周年华诞，赛伯乐(中国)创业投资管理有限公司董事长朱敏先生及其夫人徐郁清向浙江大学捐出1000万美元，用于建立浙江大学国际创新研究院。
居第五的是天津大学校友、中信泰富荣智健，在天津大学百年校庆之际，香港中信泰富集团董事局主席荣智健向天津大学捐赠5000万港币，设立奖教基金。
列第六名的是南京大学校友、家世界杜厦，累计捐赠南京大学3500万元。2008年11月，天津家世界集团董事长杜厦继捐资3000万元建造南京大学杜厦图书馆后，又捐款500万元成立“杜厦教育奖励基金”支持母校发展。
位居第七的是中南大学校友、三一集团梁稳根，捐赠中南大学3000万元。2007年，湖南三一集团董事长梁稳根捐资三千万元给其母校建立“中南大学三一研究院”，共同努力建成国内一流国际知名的研发中心，促进三一集团和中南大学的共同发展。
名列第八名的是暨南大学校友、中惠集团叶惠全，累计捐赠暨南大学2625万元。1999年至今的十年间，广东中惠集团董事长叶惠全先后捐款2625万元给暨南大学，成立教育和科研基金，支持其母校发展。
并列第九的是南京大学校友、广西银河集团潘琦，武汉大学校友、丝宝集团梁亮胜和中山大学校友、昌盛集团邹锡昌，各向其母校南京大学、武汉大学和中山大学捐赠2000万元。
“2010中国大学富豪校友捐赠排行榜”上榜的富豪企业家中，捐款金额在1000万以上的富豪有19人。其中，位居2010中国大学富豪校友捐赠排行榜第十二至第二十名的是比亚迪的王传福、互太纺织的蔡建中、百度的李彦宏、复星集团的郭广昌、梁信军等、腾讯的马化腾、张志东等、巨人投资的史玉柱、绿城集团的宋卫平、盛大网络的陈天桥和金山矿业的陈景河等富豪企业家，捐赠金额均在800万元以上。
母校的成功教育是校友回报大学的源动力
调查显示，“2010中国大学富豪校友捐赠排行榜”上榜的富豪企业家中，个人财富不足亿元的有2人，一位是山东东易实业的胡树腾，个人财富为0.6亿元；另一位是济南互联星空宋兴华，个人财富为0.05亿元，他们都是“中国校友会网2009中国大学创业富豪榜”上榜的创业富豪。中国校友会网大学评价课题组专家、桂林电子科技大学王凌峰博士指出，他们创业的时间不足十年，虽然拥有的财富还无法与福布斯、胡润、新财富和南方周末等中国富豪榜上榜的顶级富豪上亿资产相比，但不忘母校的培养之恩，也积极支持和回报母校的发展，可以说母校的成功教育是校友回报大学的源动力。2008年9月，山东东易实业集团董事长胡树腾，向其母校江西蓝天学院捐款100万元设立创业基金，并出资设立奖学金，桂林电子科技大学王凌峰博士指出，这也是到目前为止我国民办大学接收到的最大一笔的校友捐赠。2009年3月，山东英才学院校友、济南互联星空广告传媒有限公司总经理宋兴华女士，捐款10万元在母校设立“兴华奖学金”，支持其母校发展。另外，值得关注的是义乌工商职业技术学院校友杨甫刚，创业才3年，虽然身家刚过百万，2008年12月，杨甫刚也向母校捐赠2万元创业基金，以鼓励学弟学妹们创业，也感谢母校对他创业的支持。
