粤语非广东人古语:原是古代夏朝官方语言 DWNEWS.COM– 2009年1月30日8:41:5(京港台时间) –多维新闻网 香港文汇报作者周云 粤语不是粤人古语,而是中原夏语。广东人喜欢看粤剧,首先就要知道粤剧的特点,就是以广东话作为声腔进行演出的。粤剧的源头在于外江 戏,这不是广东本来自己土生土长的戏剧。更重要的是,广东话也不是原始土著居民原来的语言,而是原来黄河流域夏朝的古老语言。到了今天,黄河流域已经不再 流行这种语言了,已经成为失传的语言。反而广东保留了这种古老的语言,广东话成为中国汉语的活化石。   汉语是汉人的语言,粤语却不是粤人的语言。这话听起来似乎有点荒唐,然而事实如此。   粤语,俗称广东话,英文叫Cantonese,当地人称白话,正名该称“粤方言”,是汉语七大方言中语言现象较为复杂、保留古音特点和古词语较多、内部分歧较小的一个方言。分布在广东大部分地区和广西东南部,并以广州话为代表。   粤语的形成地   据邢公畹等先生考证,早在龙山文化时期即尧、舜时期,黄河流域就发生了一场以中原为中心、在空间上向周围、在时间上向后世扩展的“夏语化”运动;到西周时期,进而形成以夏语原生地—秦晋的方言为标准音的“雅言”(见《汉藏语系研究和中国考古学》)。   当时各部落和民族结成了同盟,共同选领袖,治理天下,联盟之后,进行商品交换,分工合作,经济规模扩大了,部族之间的生存空间界线解决了,可以共同抗 御自然灾害的问题,例如共同开发水利,治理洪水,大规模改善生活环境,生产力快速提高,发展出灿烂的夏文明。在共同的劳动中,就需要共同的语言进行沟通。 黄河流域之所以成为文明中心,跟“夏语化”运动有着极大的关系。正是由于这种原因,当今的汉语各大方言之间尽管千差万别,却总可以发现它与黄河流域的某种 渊源。   作为汉语七大方言之一的粤语,便是如此。虽然它从古百越语言中吸收某些因素,但总体来看与古汉语有着更密切的渊源,有些语音和词汇,在今天中原汉语已经失传,在粤语中却保存完好。例如古汉语中的入声韵母,在今天的中原汉语中已不复存在,而在粤语中就完整地保存着。   以“粤”命名却非土产   有人以为粤语来源于古代岭南“百越”语言,这不合乎事实。粤语确实保存着某些古代岭南“百越”语言的因素,但它的主要来源,则是古代中原一带的普通话——“雅言”。   雅言的基础是以黄帝为首的华夏部落联盟使用的原始华夏语。到了周朝,便发展成为中原一带的民族共同语。春秋战国时期,各诸侯国方言不同,而官方交往, 文人讲学,祭祀活动,都使用雅言。孔子就说过:“子所雅言,诗书执礼皆雅言也。”秦朝征服“百越”之地,征发原六国的逃亡者以及赘婿、贾人到岭南作“垦卒 ”。这些垦卒“来自五湖四海”,互相交际必须使用雅言。但由于垦卒独自屯田,因此他们的语言只在屯内通行,并未在整个岭南地区传播。   在秦代之前,广东被称为南蛮。这是百越族人居住的地方,“百越”乃汉语音译,又写作“百粤”,是古代南方土著的自称。百越又通百粤,所以,广东话又叫做粤语。   百粤的构词方法是通名在前,专名在后,意为“越(粤)人”。“百”是人的意思,越是族名,即越人,或粤人。越南胡说百越乃越南族之古称,长江以南自古 以来就是越南的领土,可说是荒唐透顶。百粤与百越都是译音,同一回事,百越三千年前就在中国大地生活,越南仅是一个小藩属,按百越之继承逻辑,岂不是现在 的越南也是广东的领土?   从这一语词可看出,那时候广东人的交际用语是与中原汉语有很大差异的“百越语”。但“百越语”究竟是什么样子,现在已经难以考证。唯一的“化石”,是 一部分地名中所保存的非汉语因素,例如“六建”“六贺”“六谢”“六吟”中的“六”,是指“山冲”,“那务”“那霍”“那录”中的“那”是指“田”,“罗 镜”“罗龙”“罗沙”中的“罗”是指“山地”,等等。值得注意的是,这些地名的构词方法,也是通名在前,专名在后;同时,其中通名的意思,今天居住在那里 的人已经完全不晓得,也就是说,这些地名中的非汉语因素在当地今天的粤语中已经不使用,恰好证明今天的粤语跟古百越语没有继承关系   由此可见,粤语虽然以“粤”命名,却非由古“粤人”的语言演变而成,不是古粤地的“土产”,而是从外地“引进”的,是汉族移民带来的。这汉族,是秦代的汉族,主要是晋、赵、燕、魏的旧贵族及其下属兵丁.   汉人南移传播“雅言”   历史上第一次大规模的中原汉人南移,发生于秦统一中国之际。公元前223年,秦国60万大军攻灭楚国,便将大军驻扎于湘南五岭,准备南征百越。到了公 元前218年,西江中部的“西瓯国”起兵反秦,秦始皇派50万大军征讨。又派史禄在海阳山开凿灵渠,将湘江与漓江沟通,以保证军事上的运输。灵渠便成为中 原汉人进入岭南的第一条主要通道。公元前214年,灭了西瓯国,战争告一段落,秦“发诸尝捕亡人、赘婿、贾人略取陆梁地,为桂林、象郡、南海,以适遣戍。 ”(《史记.秦始皇本纪》)徐广注:“五十万人守五岭。”(《集解》)这50万人,便是第一批汉族移民。   在秦始皇时期,岭南各郡地旷人稀。直至东汉时的统计资料,南海郡(广东珠三角洲)也只有9万人。因此,迁入50万人,足以改变岭南越人“一统天下”的 局面。有些学者提出质疑,认为一下子迁入那么多移民并无可能。但我们知道,大移民是秦灭六国之后为了巩固政权而实行的一项重要措施,是分期分批移入。秦始 皇既然可以将12万户豪富迁徙到咸阳以及巴蜀,又将内地大批罪人迁徙到河套以及甘肃一带,那么,完全有可能将大批中原汉人迁至岭南。虽不一定有50万那么 多,但也肯定为数不少。而秦始皇之所以搞大迁徙,其目的主要在于铲除六国的地方势力,把族人和故土分开,交叉汇编,徙到南蛮之地戍边,也就连根拔起,不能 … Continue reading

农历09年第一贴:吹一牛 吾丁 吹牛,同样两个字,对不同地域的中国人来说,含义不同。 北方人说“吹牛”,其实就是“没有恶意的夸张和胡侃”。关键在于“没有恶意”。现在,北方一般不说吹牛,流行说“侃”这个词。其实侃和吹基本是一个意思。侃中有吹,吹中带侃,胡吹乱侃,不亦乐乎。当年是“10亿人民9亿侃,还有一亿在发展”。20年过去,日转星移,现如今已经发展到“14亿人民14亿侃,海外华人在发展”了。“与时俱进”这种虚词,一听就知道,这肯定是北京人,或者长年生活在北京,被北京的“侃文化”薰熟了的无聊的南方人编出来的。离开北京的吹牛环境,其他地方的人想不出这玩意儿来。 北方人“吹牛”,主要目的在吹嘘自己,而不在于从对方那里得到些什么。如果说非要得到一些什么的话,那也只是从对方似信非信的眼神里得到一些类似虚无的快感之类的东西。比如北京人跟你说他们家吃捞面的瓦赤盆儿,“您猜怎么着,那可是御膳房给乾隆爷盛糖醋鲤鱼的盆”!他这么说,你最好表现出极大的憧憬和羡慕交织的表情,这样你们喝酒的气氛会很融洽,转眼就变成好朋友。至于那个盆到底是乾隆爷的食器还是琉璃厂捡来的尿盆儿,——那跟你有什么关系,管它呢! 上海人说“吹牛皮”,含义就不一样了。上海人的“吹牛皮”相当于北方人说“撒谎”,“说瞎话”。这对于北方人来说,等于罪加一等。 北方人说,不就吹吹牛皮么,有什么大不了的,我们天天吹。但是上海人其实在责备你撒谎。 上海人说“弗要吹牛皮!”,这意思就是对你所说的话基本不相信,因为他觉得你在撒谎。含有很大的不满情绪。上海人说的“吹牛皮”,相当于北京人说“你丫少跟我来这哩哏儿愣啊!,这可不是闹着玩儿的,操,那5万块钱到底是不是你丫拿了?”,话到此时,就不是食器或尿盆儿那么简单了,脸色开始不好看了。 北方人的“吹牛”,上海人说“侬弗要瞎7搭8!”。 广东话里本来没有“吹牛”这个说法。北方话的吹牛,广东人说别人“离谱”。上海人的“吹牛”,广东人说“车大炮”“讲大话”,含义都不尽相同。但是广东话有其灵活的一面,有时候也直接用粤语发音来说“吹牛”两个字,其意思接近北方话的含义。 我们来假设两段对话。对话者是上述三个城市的男人。 —-情景对话(之一) 京A:我们家吃捞面那瓦赤盆儿嘿,您猜怎么着,那可是御膳房给乾隆爷盛糖醋鲤鱼的盆! 京B:哟!牛啊,那吃起捞面来,味儿肯定不一样!(心想:您别操蛋了,还指不定是从哪儿捡了个尿盆儿回来呢……) 沪:哈哈哈哈,侬册那弗要塌我瞎3话4 好弗啦! 粤:哈哈哈哈,丢你老母离晒谱,你海度唱歌啊依家!(说话太离谱,升格为唱歌……) —-情景对话(之二) 京A:“……刘哥,我可都说了,那5万块钱真不是我拿的,是隔壁王三儿拿的……” 京B: “操你大爷,你丫少跟我来这哩哏儿愣啊!这事儿闹大了,你再他妈不说实话,我可保不了你了!” 沪:“侬册那弗要塌我吹牛皮哦,我塌侬讲,再吹牛皮要吃生活哦!” 粤:“讲你老母大话!再唔讲实话,定你落海你信唔信哪……” 都是俗话,切口。 Shiiiiii ..
