The hairy crab 大閘蟹
When the western journalists starting writing about certain Chinese delicacy, I don’t think it has arrived, but rather over cooked. Just another day, someone sent those e-mail stuff, one was warning about - Chinese mitten crab, Eriocheir sinensis, also known as the big binding crab (大閘蟹) and Shanghai hairy crab (上海毛蟹) - whatever you call it. Because of the demand has been multiplied, farmers raise them differently .. .. what else can we eat without worrying about health problems?
