Civil or military?

Rudy Giuliani was on CNN last week, talking about the criminal vs military action against terrorists. On 1993 WTC bombing, the interviewer asked, “you were happy at the time that they were prosecuted by (civilian) law ..” Rudy agreed, “yes .. because we didn’t know about 9/11 .. after 9/11, we see those acts as terrorist and they should be handled by military ..” so you don’t have to read them their rights and get them lawyers. I agree. Today the 200+ plus detainees were back in the news, that they were granted the right to suit in the US civilian courts. That they can retain lawyers (on the US tax payers expense?) to get freed. Don’t you wish a tad of authoritarian rules applied here? I do. Invite Putin or Hu over for a summer internship.  Putin is out of job (oppppsss .. .. he’s the one with the real power .. thy one’s shaking Bush’s hand is just a puppet ..) He might just set US in the right track.
