McCain’s chances
A newspaper compares the two First Lady in waiting, Cindy McCain and Michelle Obama. Cindy’s dad is the beer baron who’s biggest distributors of Budweiser while Michelle, likes her husband, rose from not so prestigious background. But Michelle had gone to Princeton and obtained her law degree from Harvard, now as the public relations officer for Chicago University Hospitals, makes $320,000 year. Any time I looked at her, it reminded me of affirmative action and wondering where would she be if she weren’t born in the USA. I don’t want to sound like a racist, but in fact, the black people are being treated far above very well in the US. Yet, she said “For the first time in my adult lifetime, I am really proud of my country, not just because Barack has done well, but because I think people are hungry for change.”
It is difficult for Americans to swallow that this is such a mean-spirited country from a woman who has been given so many opportunities. It sounded very ungracious and ungrateful.
If you’re not so proud of this country, why don’t you move back to where you’re from, - I’d often say this to people, regardless of their skin color or social status - and how can we expect them to lead this country with passion?
McCain’s chances are just looking better. And I far more prefer Cindy as the First Lady. She looks the part.
