A happy ending with Shu Qi cost $200

Published by The Kibbitzer under Seefood Diet n Wine

A girls’ night out at Louie’s.  A friend of mine recently said that a massage parlor in Singapore has few look-a-like masseurs, not the he-she street.  For an hour, the actual massage, plus a happy ending or home run, it cost only $200.
“Who did you get?”
“Shu Qi.”  Sugar, I have no iota who the [...]

It’s about time

Published by The Kibbitzer under View from Bottom

Mao Zedong adopted the Gregorian calendar on 10/1/1949?  Is that so, horologically speaking?  Americans are somewhat brands obsessed, but not many appreciate the beautiful and subtlety of a fine watch.  Seeing Sasha Cohen promoting Citizen made me cringe, can’t she do better?  If it’s not a Swiss, but at least some thing in the neighborhood of Dior or Tiffany.  A [...]

Matrimonial Advice From A Considerate Husband

Published by The Kibbitzer under Sports, View from Bottom

It is  important for men to remember that, as women grow older, it becomes harder  for them to maintain the same quality of housekeeping as when they were  younger. When you notice this, try not to yell at them. Some are oversensitive, and there’s nothing worse than an over sensitive woman.

Their palacial house in Beichangjie 北长街 was next door to Li Zongren 李宗仁.  Then they downsized to Xisi Dajie 西四大街 where I remembered endless rooms and courtyards for us to run around [...]

Ping pong diplomacy continues

It’s pretty neat to see Hu Jintao plays ping pong in Japan: he’s loosening up a bit.  A spontaneous affair or a scripted event?  He’s form isn’t bad.  What else can you play, skipper?  Can the former Tibet party boss out play so-called spiritual leader Dalai Lama in media?

Liu Youyu 刘友渔

Liu Youyu was Yeye’s colleague in Suiyuan 绥远 now Hohhot.  When he moved back to Beijing, he became Yeye’s tenant at Canzheng Hutong.  Liu was one of four Feng Yuxiang 冯玉祥’s lieutenants that sent to Germany to further study and training.  They all came back with German wives, but eventually all of them divorced due to cultrual [...]

Xiao Yi

Published by The Kibbitzer under Kith and Kin

Misha   Xiaoyi, Xiaoyifu and I, 1966
Xiaoyi - Lü Youtang (1936 Beijing -) is my Mom’s younger sister.  An OB/GY by training, but she loves doing house chords.  Even working at the hospital, she preferred to dish out aspirin than deliver babies.
Misha and Xiaoyi dated briefly, parted way after she went to medical school.  A naval engineer boy friend who’s father [...]
