Why China is losing the media war?
Is there any thing worthy to report other than the screaming headline by CNN that hundreds protest as Chinese president arrives in Japan? How about ‘The president arrived to the sound of applause and well-wishes from supporters’ instead? Why can’t China win the media war? Average Joe Doe isn’t interested in China, average Jane Smith doesn’t know where Tibet is. The views such as Dr. Peter Harvey can only be seen in the Letters to the Editors. Something isn’t right. Free press? I doubt very much. I just wish those who dish out reports and comments on China first get an education and understanding before render judgements.
