“DHARAMSALA, India — The Dalai Lama on Tuesday invited international observers, including Chinese officials, to scour his offices here and investigate whether he had any role in inciting the latest anti-Chinese violence in Tibet. He also threatened to resign as leader of Tibet’s government-in-exile in the event of spiraling bloodshed in his homeland. … ”
Thing would go south when a government is mixing up with religion. Since when Dalai Lama is the head of a government? Thought he’s only a spiritual leader in exile. Where’s his set up, treasurer, pm, law enforcement officials .. ?? He offered to be scrutinized that he didn’t instigate the protest, the invitation extended to China as well. Thought about Walter Bagehot’s reasoning in 1873 on banker’s credibility that every banker knows that if he has to prove he is worthy of credit .. in fact his credit is gone. Long gone.
