11 years jail time for 1.5 lives a cop took while drunk
Couple of weeks ago, a judge handed down a mere 11 years (something like that) sentence to a New Jersey cop who killed a 3-year old kid and put the mother in coma while he’s drunk. I failed to see the justice here. First a law enforcement officer violating the law. Secondly, shouldn’t he be sentenced to death since his reckless action caused death and putting another human into coma? DUI offense rarely get anything serious, so there are more DUIs. Same with drug trafficking. If there is death penalty, then use it. Don’t just debate it. But the punishment is so light, so the druggies bet their chance.
