11 years jail time for 1.5 lives a cop took while drunk

Couple of weeks ago, a judge handed down a mere 11 years (something like that) sentence to a New Jersey cop who killed a 3-year old kid and put the mother in coma while he’s drunk.  I failed to see the justice here.  First a law enforcement officer violating the law.  Secondly, shouldn’t he be sentenced [...]
