US defence contract gone to Europe
Instead the Boeing, the EADS - the European defence group gets the $35bn to supply refueling tankers to the American air force. I’m dumbfounded. US bidders were too expensive, or to show the world that the Americans aren’t protectionism or went for the cheaper price? When Japaneses opposing the US beef import, they claim the Jap’s intestines were longer than those of Americans hence had trouble digesting foreign beef. The Jap’s reason for restrictions on European skis was that Japanese snow was different. How silly. .. Ok, my point is, protectionism should only go so far, and US should stop playing nice, bending backward. Don’t feel sorry for your hard earned prestige and hegemony, that are sliding south fast presently. Hey, listen, now that Medvedev is the president that’ll free up Putin in someway .. .. might we soon see Putin serving as our Secretary of State? He certainly can’t be US president since he isn’t born here, and Arnold’s been waiting long.
