Have you seen the pictures?

roberts.jpgOps, the Pretty Woman forgot her razor ..  ..

Have you seen the lady’s man with his seven starlet dwarfs?  No I haven’t till last night - hi Lou, how come we didn’t get the DVD?  I read about it by a columnist almost month after the fact - wasn’t news worthy by a major financial newspaper?  But thanks to it, I wasn’t completely out of the loop, :).  Edison Chen and the naked Hong Kong singers and stars were talk of the town since the pictures surfaced in January.  HK and China police are chasing it, thought the organized crime is behind it.  What struck me the most the few photos I saw, aside from home made quality was that girls this generation are completely different from mine, and I couldn’t decide which one is more pathetic.  What’s more, the lady’s man has announced that he’s leaving acting after getting death threat and apologised to the girls.  Hmmmm.. here comes the east meets the west: Grant (I thought it’s PR spin for his so so film.. but men think it’s real: that’s how man acts .. oh well .. what do I know) survived, Hilton flourished, but Hoang Thuy Linh had quitted over her sex tape.  I’m not sure what’s await the seven girls.

One of the girls involved in this orgy is the daughter-in-law of the famed HK actors, Xie Xian (Tse Yin) and Deborah.  “Is she fame stemming from being married to the son or she’s good actor herself?”  My g/f said she’s a good actor herself.  There are too many pretty boy actors and good looking starlets I hardly know anyone any more.  The daughter-in-law in the picture wasn’t special or unique to my untrained and imperfect eyes.  And what’s killed it all was her unshaven private part and unattractive hand that holding it open.

I always consider foot/hands are part of the package, diction and pasture too.  Diana Krall is cool, but she doesn’t know how to saunter.  Sure she isn’t a model, doesn’t know cat walk, but should you make it bit more appetizing - after all, it’s part of the show - for the audience?  I was impressed by her voice, a full orchestra accompanying her, but instantly turned off by her short stride to the piano at Radio City.

Xie was a famous vintage actor based in HK, I can readily recall few of his movies/TV series.  Shanghai Tang was one right?  Back then, there wasn’t as many common fresh faces as it is there today.  He Lily (何莉莉?) was one that I thought was very beautiful, from head to toe, and very witty too.  Have I ever seen her film?  Sorry no, :); like an expensive porcelain, she’s out only on special occasions.  I have no idea where she’s now (last heard that she’s divorced and living in Shanghai, managing her own restaurant) and how she looks - I don’t want to know, :).
