Bahamas 1992
After we booked a tennis camp, I found out I was pregnant. My in-laws persuaded us not to go. So Bahamas it was. By the time we arrived at Nassau, I was just starting my second trimester. I played tennis anyway, with a coach. The two bed/bath condo at Sandpipper was great, right on the sandy beach. Rolled out of the bed and went to swim every morning. The water was warm and calm. I can’t swim free straight without the bottom-lines (in the lap pool), but the water was crystal clear that I followed the ridges. It’s off season, only $99 from the timeshare. The locals looked very happy and content.
Doreen came back from Hong Kong to spend the X’mas in New York. She and my father-in-law came to pick up us from the airport, and announcing that she too, was pregnant! Our first borns were only a month apart. Needless to say, my in-laws were very happy.
