Kurds’ Power Wanes as Arab Anger Rises
There are serenity and affluent in the war torn Iraq, mostly in the Kurdish area. This pic from NYT shows more in line with the Sopranos spending an afternoon with his gangs than gun lugging suicide bombers. I know there are conflicts between Sunnis and Shiites. The Kurds, who are mostly Sunni but not Arab .. explained the Times. Whatever. May I think further here, that Dalai Lama is seeking independence or autonomy; who’s backing him? Without a solid financial backing, there is no autonomy. Who’s going to pay for schools and roads? Each cultural deserves to be preserved, when you have the mean. Chinese are largely heathen, hence has been relatively peaceful.
