A wonderful winter day ..
Yaaaaheeee, Giants is going to da Super Bowl. Do those little boys have Tiki in mind when they played as the underdogs?? I like Tiki a lot, but .. hmmmm .. and 14 points deficit? Come on people, give Giants more credit?
My card gamers arrived promptly at 11am, and between a lunch and dinner, we played straight till 11:30pm. Julie is the only Packer fan among us, .. thank god Giantswon, :)). .. otherwise she may have to stay out in the cold .. hehehe.. She said the new pears aren’t new, she had it when she was little in Shanghai. We played well and had an even game. After the gamers left, the drinkers/fans descent, we watched the re-caps of the game (aren’t we sick or what? now I don’t have to feel odd when I linger around to watch the trophy ceremony after the grand slams .. thought I was crazy ..), obviously everyone was beyond happy and surprised. A pretty neat way to start my birthday celebration, :).
Those few days are cold here in NY, I took a walk in the morning, took those pics .. .. wonderful colors even in the dead winter. The survive of the nature.
