Regular milk
I wanted a latte. My favored combo is a cup of hot milk with a drop or two coffee. No StarBucks within walking distance. So I walked into a fine coffee shop. Either I looked like a Martian or terrorist, few customers there became very quiet. I placed my order. The waiter told me to get coffee I wanted - he had few, how much I wanted, then he’ll heat up the milk, only 2% or skim. I have never been one who’s fond of the Southern drawl, either I couldn’t believe he didn’t have regular milk or I didn’t understand his accent. Excuse me? He repeated twice. It felt funny .. so I said, never mind, I’ll drive to that StarBucks.. ..
