The German’s answer to the Hamptons near Hamburg in the North Sea made to the NYT travel list as the 13th for 2008. It’s Renate and Norbert’s favored spot back then. Wearily of the long drive, I always declined their invitation while living with them. Once I escaped to Paris and the second time I visited Egypt. Prague is the 14th, wondering if the NYT proclaimed Vietnam and Cambodia so 2007, I had to think Prague is so 1980! Don’t take me wrong, I love Prague, a very Cosmo capital, full of arts and concerts, lively. Renate and I visited it couple of times in the early 80s, while it was still very much an eastern block, but felt like any city in the west. We walked the Charles Bridge looking for the status called Norbert, :).
