Zinfandel
Over the past two decades, the brave New World has taken on an old crusade, the infatuation with wine. From primarily beer, shots .. and the quintessential American cocktails .. to a much expected wine cellar, the accoutrement to financial success. Before I landed in the USA, I’ve never heard of Zinfandel, :). Back then, the Yankees weren’t vino-obsessed as they’re now, just as with sushi crazy, yoga crazy… The size of their population and wallet let them setting the trend, regardless how long it had been in existence. Just hope the-getting-drunk-as-sport culture diminishes, or eradicated altogether.
