After painless process, entirely done by e-mails, we received our deed recorded on 8/6/07. One day last week, I just thought about it, so called the resort asking if it’s ready to use. It turned out, not yet. They were still waiting for the transfer fee of $50 from the closing company, which was sent to them on 8/10. Two months has passed. If I understand it correctly, all resort has to do is preparing the PA document, Point Application, sends it to RCI. It took them another full week, to find the check of mere $50, and prepare the doc. As of today, we’re in the resort’s system. It would be another week or two to get into RCI’s system. Then we’ll be in biz, :). Why can’t people work more effectively and efficiently?
The resort has a 4 out 5 overall rating, rated 5 for amenities and unit satisfaction. Hilton Head has always been one of my most favored vacation spot in the US, the other is Berkshire MA, very cosmo.
