Walking home one day last week, passed by this lady in the pic.  She looked weighted down by her bags and tilt her face upon seeing me.  “Yes?”  Thought she needed direction or something.  “Do you have a quarter?”  What?  Need for the meter?  “Quarters or dollar?”  I saw her white canvas bag was full of junks that you’d find in the homeless people’s push carts or black garbage bags.  Would I have given her a quarter or dollar should I have on me?  Don’t know.  Two years ago, one day I was having coffee with a gf in StarBucks in town, there came in a young Chinese girl with a small bag on her shoulder and two DVDs in her hand.  She walked directly to us, asking in an accent Mandarin if we’d like to buy.  Oh lord, I wished there was a hole!  Thank god she left immediately when we said nothing - we were stunned.  I was wondering how did she find a way to the burbs???  Or she lived nearby?
