Frank and Dyane visited us last December for his big 6-0. Frank is the kid bro of Renate whom I lived with in Frankfurt back in the 80s. They grew up in Kassel (the bros Grimm), their mom, a sweet lovely lady had passed away and their dad, an extremely handsome banker with silver hair is 99 years old, lives near Frank in Kassel. Dyane is from Missouri (don’t shoot me if I get this wrong), the quintessential American girl in Germany. Frank loves New York while Renate won’t set her feet in N America. She and her hubby Norbert travel far and wide, I mean those off the beaten tracks.. .. Gee, I don’t bit, don’t bark, wondering what’s preventing them .. I since have given up hope to entertain them here. But I’m sure Frank and Lady Dy will come soon, right?
