Bandwidth

bandw.JPGspeed.JPGI’ve been having trouble with my charts for a while.  Every time I called in for tech support, they’ll tell me different story.  Today’s that I need to upgrade my RAM to 2 gb.  RAM, bandwidth, speed, … I know them but I dont.  The chart tech showed me the cnet.com, checking on my bandwidth, which came in the middle of the rank, 790 Kbps, when the fastest is T3 (runs fm 6k to 30k Kbps).  Out of not knowing what to do, I called FiOS tech.  The first one had me run the optimize prog, which increased my speed from 2.301 n 1.848 to the current 13.03 n 4.5 respectively.  After spoke with few of them (within an hour) I found out that my speed was way tooooo low, and they’re going to fix it.  Oh sugar, sharks .. .. sorry Neil, unwittingly I’ve harassed the wrong people.  I’m paying for the 20/5, = 20000 Kbps downloading speed and 5 mbps uploading speed.  It’s when I asked for 30/5 or 50/5, the rep replied, “honey, what do you need that kind of speed for? .. .. 20/5 is plenty enough ..”  Dictating Pentagon from my garage?  Obviously its the tuition for not knowing, :).  But do I have to know all of those stuff?  My little head is spinning.
