Zargat in the Korean store
I’ve eaten here plenty of times. Spicy, convenient and clean. An elderly and stoic couple runs the shop with a cheerful Mexican dishwasher. I have never seen the man smile. The lady is the same, with a sour face. Sorry if I don’t speak a word of Korean; thought the bible had cured all of that. You have to wait for him to serve you. The other day, I was in a rush (oh ya, I’m laid-back), and tried to get his attention. He grumpily walked over to the counter, and took my order. While waiting, I continuously shopped. Next thing I knew, he was standing tall with my tray on the counter, the face of a grandfather about to scold. I tiptoed over, suppressing my laugh, took the food. He gave me a meant-est look. That’s him; I’m sure he has a good heart, lol.
