Health Savings Account is my current tormentor: I opened this account early last December from the web site which’s easy, then from there on is down turn spiral: I still don’t know how to deposit, which should be from pre-tax earrings. I called numerous times and visited the Citi branches twice, still got nowhere: the phone-line operators didn’t know much except explain what this account can do for me, which I already knew. The branches with live warm bodies didn’t know either. As soon as I mentioned ‘pre-tax’, the customer service rep who mannes the desk called in their expert: certified finance rep. No, I don’t need a CFR (or whatever the name Citi bestow to them). Citi has back office which services the Citi employees that help customers and a central number that help other Citi employees, unfortunately non of the places has a knowledgeable person knew what I need. The brance can’t even check my balance - they don’t have access! And this is the largest gloval bank in the world.
