World Bank n the Wolf
So the bad Wolf of the World Bank is quitting. People are busy predicting who’ll be the next skipper. Regardless who’ll head it, I think what people or the world leaders should consider is the relevancy of the WB at this juncture. Blackstone Group is investing a tiny slice, 3bn out of 1.3 trillion in foreign reserves for China. Really, who needs WB now? Well, to be fair, there are people who think WB is very much needed: its employees.
