Dalliance 诗雨
One of my childhood friends just had a new born child 诗雨, poetry in the rain, 诗情画意 .. such a romantic name on an adorable and cute baby girl…. but my friend is not married to either the parents on the birth certificate. I don’t think my friend is advertising this fact, but few others knew. Office romance is the topic at the moment due to World Bank Wolfowitz’s scandal. My friend’s is also an office affair, but not clear if the love came before the hire. Anyway, I just thought extra marital liaisons are far more common and accepted in Asia, or Europe in that regard. USA has phalanx matrimonial lawyers lurking which make such dalliance prohibited costly. One’s career could be ruined if it doesn’t handle with proper care. Wondering if American family structure is benefiting from this tight ‘regulation’?
