I spotted Li Tete’s name on the committee list. Her daughter Li Qi was one of my best friends since middle school. She’s quiet and mellow. We became close friends due to our inability to hand the physical ed class - no one would believe that I failed at it! I could swim well, but that wasn’t included: running, jumping, sprinting, etc. were the yardsticks. Oh I couldn’t run and still don’t - running on the tennis or badminton court is different, lol. Li Qi’s tall for a Chinese, so she’s always plucked to play basketball which she hated, running off the court in tears. Forest said he’ll get me her number: we kept in touch for the first two years after I left for Hong Kong but lost touch since.
