Quit when you’re ahead 见好就收
Wen’s visit to Japan was a huge turning point: he went as a victor, did all the routine things the western world expects a skipper would do. It wasn’t long ago when we didn’t even who their wives were, now he’s calling his Mom … Janap should realize that the tide has changed and it’s time to made amend with China. Why don’t they come out clean, make a former apology and move on. Without looking ahead of time, I’d say China has the upper hand at this time, yes 2007. If the USA can’t check China, I doubt very much that the Japs can or could do anything. Wen gave the Japs a way out by forging friendship and corporation … those were just the pretense, nothing more than a facade, a chance for the Japs to extricate themselves from an awkward position. Quit when you’re ahead. Drowning a dog already in the water is not very Chinese. But they’ll never forget what the Japs did during the WWII, and they’ll make them miserable until the apology is heard loud and former.
