Judy is from Shanghai working as a programmer for a publishing house here in New York.  The thing bothers her most is the prospect of her two son’s future if they could make it in the US, “kids, especially boys in China have the confidence that the American Chinese boys lacking..”  She sighted at the wisdom of making n living in the US, “most our friends back home are in charge of big corporations while we or men in particular are hardly getting promoted to the managerial positions here ..”  Asian men are just not very popular in the West.  Is because they are not quick to open doors for ladies?  Asian women on the other hand, seem to fare far better in the West.
